Comparison of domestic and foreign construction standards

Comparing modern foreign standards for the design of residential buildings with domestic ones, it can be noted that our norms are largely similar to the norms of advanced Western European countries. The main difference is that our norms take into account the presence in the microdistrict or quarter of the developed public service sector (shopping centers, kindergartens, nursery, clubs, restaurants and other institutions). With regard to the set of apartment premises, it can be noted that in most Western European countries the number of rooms in the apartment is determined depending on their area. But, as a rule, this is a common room, parents’ bedroom and children’s (one or more, depending on the number of children). Much attention is paid to the arrangement of furniture in the dining room and kitchen. In all Western European countries, aesthetically beautiful, carved, wooden furniture that creates the atmosphere of luxury and heat in the kitchen is very popular, you can buy your favorite furniture here: buy a kitchen. For other premises – living rooms, offices, etc. D., The norms of Western European countries do not provide for such norms. The norms of the areas of individual rooms, and therefore the areas of the same types of apartments in multi -storey buildings of the largest countries of Western Europe – England, France, Germany, Sweden – are quite close to each other. The areas of apartments, in general, in different countries are determined by different methods: by the number of alleged residents of the apartment; by the number of living rooms; by the number of sleeping rooms. In all foreign norms, as a rule, only useful area is regulated. In Western countries, the norms provide for a significantly smaller height of the premises than it is accepted in the practice of mass construction.
